As a green and non-polluting sterilization technology, ozone treatment has many advantages, such as reducing fruit rot, prolonging the storage period, removing pesticide residues, etc. It has great potential for application in fruit storage and preservation. This paper summarizes the characteristics of ozone, its effects on fruit storage, the factors affecting the effectiveness, and the safety of ozone treatment, intending to promote people’s understanding of ozone in the field of fruit preservation, cause everyone to pay attention to the development and application of ozone technology, and promote the development of ozone in the field of fruit preservation. |
